Retrieve e-Notary entries

The following guide shows you how to retrieve e-Notary Journal entries.

The e-Journal is a log that a notary is required to keep to record information related to each notarization they perform. The majority of the information required to create e-Journal entry is captured automatically during the e-signature process.

The Code

e-Notary Journal entries for a particular sender can be retrieved using the OneSpan Sign client’s PackageService as shown below. You will need to pass as parameter the sender user id.

sdkJournalEntries = eslClient.getPackageService().getJournalEntries(senderUID);

You can also retrieve e-Notary Journal entries as CSV format:

csvJournalEntries = eslClient.getPackageService().getJournalEntriesAsCSV(senderUID);

Content-Type: application/json
Authorization: Basic api_key

You can also retrieve e-Notary Journal entries as CSV format by changing the “Accept” header from “application/json” to “text/CSV”.
